DE LA FONTAINE Industries Will Open a New Factory in the Nashville Region

Lebanon, TN – September 1st, 2023

DE LA FONTAINE Industries, a manufacturing company specialized in designing and manufacturing steel doors and frames, will open a new factory located in the Nashville region. DE LA FONTAINE Industries has invested to lease and equip 15,000 square feet of space in a facility on Genesco Parkway, in the city of Lebanon, 30 miles East of Nashville. This new manufacturing facility will house state-of-the-art production equipment, enabling the company to maintain short lead times and better serve its Southeastern clients, in the States of Tennessee, Alabama, Missouri and Kentucky.

”This new facility in the Nashville region is a part of our global strategy, as it will reinforce DE LA FONTAINE Industries' presence in the Southeastern region," said Gabriel de La Fontaine, General Manager. ‘’We have worked for many years to expand our presence in the American territory. To satisfy better our customers of this burgeoning market, we realized it was necessary to assert a physical presence in the field.”

The company's growth plan focuses among other things on acquisitions and opening of new facilities across the United States. In 2017, DE LA FONTAINE Industries had acquired a plant in Hyattsville, MD, and another in Grand Prairie, TX in 2019. The company has also opened a facility in Indianapolis, IN in 2020; another facility in Concord, NC in 2021; and another facility in Orlando, FL in 2022, in addition to being present in Woburn, MA for several years. The DE LA FONTAINE Industries' plant in Lebanon, TN will therefore be the company's seventh facility in the United States. This new facility will employ approximately 20 employees and is planned to officially open for the end of 2023.

Founded in 1968, DE LA FONTAINE Industries is a third-generation family business that employs more than 350 associates at its production facilities across North America. The company's steel doors and steel frames can be found in a variety of diverse locations like the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Colorado State University Stadium as well as schools, residences and industrial facilities around the world. The company's products, which meet the needs of customers as well as safety, sustainability and fire resistance standards, are distributed across North America and Latin America.
