Keeps me involved in the industry, current and relevant.
Meeting and staying in touch with industry peers is probably the biggest benefit.
What impacts have you seen on students through their engagement in DHI Canada’s education?
Industry involvement and awareness. The industry contacts made at DHI schools and events will serve them well throughout their career. The knowledge gained by working with industry professionals with a long history in the industry is invaluable.
In your experience, what is the most important benefit of DHI Canada’s education program?
Recognition of industry credentials gives our members instant and lasting credibility.
Personal story or memories you wish to share:
As an instructor, at every school we learn more about the industry and the people in it. I cherish the friendships that I have made over the years with other instructors and students.
I have had the enjoyment of seeing students that I have taught multiple times obtain their credentials and return to the schools as Instructors. There are several instances where we have taught 2 generations of the same family.
Watching colleagues that took part in the education program excel in the industry is probably the most rewarding aspect of working with the DHI Education program.
