What Is Your Current Role

I am currently Project Manager and Sales Consultant with Allmar Inc. in the Edmonton Branch.  

Number of years in the industry 

I began my career in the industry in July 2007.  Along the way, I have earned by Architectural Hardware Consultant (AHC) designation and my Certified Fire Door Assembly Inspector (CFDAI) designation.

Involvement with DHI Canada 

I am a strong supporter of DHI Canada and the Canadian door and hardware industry.  I have been DHI Canada  instructor for several years and I’ve served as Alberta Rose Chapter President since 2017.  In addition, I’ve been a member of the Canada Conference Committee for the past three conferences.  

What do you like best about the industry 

I like the complexity and challenge this industry offers.  While this can be challenging at times, the ever-changing environment continues to keep me engaged and excited about the future of this industry.  

How your DHI education has supported your development 

DHI education has earned me two credentials and I have learned a great deal from the courses I’ve taken over the years.  The interaction with other students and instructors has been instrumental in expanding my knowledge and providing a network of colleagues from across the country.   

Fun Fact

I have been to Greece 4 times in my life, to see family and to soak in the beauty and history of the country
