ORGANIZED ACTIVITY
Barrier Fire Lookout Hike - Friday, September 8, 2017
DHI Canada will arrange for transportation and a guide for a scenic hike to the barrier fire lookout on friday morning. The trail head is about a 15 minute drive down the valley. Easy to moderate rated out and back hike. Take switchbacks uphill on an old forestry road to a spectacular viewpoint looking south over Barrier Lake. From the viewpoint, visitors can either continue to the north side of the ridge to that Barrier Fire Lookout and a view over the Bow Valley, or descend towards Jewell Pass.
Cost: $100 plus 5% GST per person (includes return transportation, guide, box lunch and refreshments)

DHI suggest a trip up the valley. famous spot with movie makers – upper kananaskis lake. you can choose between a casual stroll around lake or take on a more challenging hike to rawson lake.
Endless possibilities in incredible settings – Kananaskis Country, Banff National Park or Yoho National park. Within 2 hours’ car ride you can hike around the Emerald Lake or bike at Canmore Nordic Centre - venue holding world circuit races in nordic skiing and mountain biking.
